Way back in 1980, Serangoon Plaza, Singapore, witnessed the opening of a modest jewellery shop Kamala Jewellers Pte Ltd., by our Founder Sri. M. Narayana Samy. It stood the test of time with its exquisite designs, highest quality and the constant update taken on the prevalent fashion. The goodwill we had with our customers cemented our long-term relationship. The introduction of new range of jewellery in novel designs with every step we took towards our expansion saw us move into our plush showroom in Serangoon Road, where we celebrated our silver jubilee in 2005!
The doors to the world of Gold, Diamond and Gems, opened for our Founder-Director Sri M. Narayana Samy in early 1964. Raffles Place Road those days was studded with world famous companies in various trades.G.C. De Silva and Brothers Pte. Ltd., was one of them. It was run by a Srilankan gem merchant.Sri. Narayana Samy joined them in 1964. He sold gems for the next twenty years. He sold different varieties of rubies, pearls and 9k, 14k, 18k, and 916 gold. It takes patience and perseverance to master the trade of Gems and Jewels. His son Sri. N. Senthil Kumar has also gained his experience in the same line and is now taking the business to greater heights with his innovative methods.
