Younger chinchilla usually can handle temperatures even up to 30C. However, the older ones needs consistent temperature that shouldn’t go below 14C or above 24C because they can have a stroke from heat. If you can’t even provide this for your chinchilla, I suggest do not even bother taking on the poor animal as you will be killing it slowly. http://thechinchillablog.blogspot.com
