Description:
It took me some time to finally decide to buy an iPod. Although everyone had one, I could not bring myself to justify spending the money. Finally, I caved into the pressure out of pure curiosity. After all, what is the big deal with having portable music?
A Friend of mine told me to look into the dubli networks to see if I could find a good deal, and that was a great tip. I created a Dubli account and signed on, taking part in one of the reverse auctions.
Before I knew it I had a great little green iPod Nano, and spent the next few hours setting up my iTunes account. Within a week my life had a soundtrack. Led Zeppelin mowing the lawn, Johnny Lee Hooker doing dishes, some early nineties stuff when I was feeling for something a little heavier.
By the end of the first week it was back to the Dubli cooperation to find an iPod docking station, and see if I could find a way to hook my new best friend into my car radio.
Now that I have joined the personal soundtrack revolution, I don't know what I was doing without it. Let's face it, life is just plain better when accompanied by music!!
